Zbog povećanja cijena poslovanja (gorivo, električna energija, plaće i doprinosi, materijali i održavanja vozila i opreme itd.) nakon nekoliko godina povećane cijene vode i odvoza otpada.
Općina Domaljevac-Šamac i dalje pokriva razliku troškova za Dječji vrtić (oko 70% troškova ili 220.000,00 KM), kao i za Vodokom-Domaljevac (oko 50% troškova ili 250.000,00 KM) kako bi se osigurale usluge predškolskog odgoja te neometana opskrba vodom, prikupljanje otpada, održavanje javnih površina, grobalja, cesta, poljskih nasipa te ostalih komunalnih poslova.
